Dance Studio Owner/Director/Instructor

Christy Beattie has been teaching dance in the Dayton and Centerville area since the age of 15. She is a graduate of Wright State University, a National Member of Dance Masters of America and is certified in Ballet, Tap and Jazz. Her students have won numerous awards in regional and national dance competitions.  Her teaching methods are developmentally appropriate as well as nurturing. Christy has studied with such people as Joe Tremaine, Art and Nancy Stone, Rhee Gold, Larraine Susa, Geo Hubela, Kathy Kozul, Roni Mahler, Madame Peff Modelski, Mike Wittmers, Lynn Formato, Tom Ralabate, and many more. She strives to bring the most up-to-date teaching styles and techniques to the studio.

Instructor

Alexa Brown has studied dance since the age of 3 and been involved in instructing students for 7 years.  She has personally won numerous awards in regional and national dance competitions. She continues her teaching certification through Dance Masters of America and attends numerous conventions and workshops throughout the year. Alexa brings to Dayton Dance & Movement a caring and fresh approach to educating and motivating dancers and their imaginations.
